Sue Lin
A teacher who feels there's so much more that can be done to improve the education system and help the kids.. but often too bogged down by admin stuff
A Westerner in Singapore
Youngest as well as the oldest in the family (So what does that mean?)
Loves going KTV to sing her fav songs by Ah Mei, Fish, etc..
Loves travelling & vacations but hates getting about by public tpt esp buses!
Much of her time is currently spent on work, marking marking marking, but now more time on wedding stuff :)

The Groom
David aka DC
Currently an engineer @ ST.A, slogging his life away, trying to earn more save more for our wedding... Siong.. sigh
Eldest of the 5 siblings.
Yes, he comes from a large family - 2 sisters and 2 brothers after him..
Loves any activity that doesn't require much of his energy, eg. Lazing around at home, sleeping, eating good food, reading non-fiction books/magazines! In JC, he was given the nickname of "walking encyclopedia" cos he used to top the class in the GK Tests.
He is one whom people may not take to at first as he may give people a very "dao" look, very quiet and reserved. But once you get to know him, or when he warms up to you, hoho.. he can talk more than you. By the way, your secrets would be safe with him, as he definitely can keep his promise if you ask him not to.

Story of David & Sue-Lin
It all started from JC life...
David and Sue Lin were JC class mates.
At the initial stage, they were just good friends, who called each other sister and brother.
Much teasing from other classmates caused them to be quite embarrassed about it and they kept quite a fair distance away.
It was only when out of the blue, David asked Sue Lin to help out in his class work when he was away from school for a period of time, that things 'happened'...
When They officially Got Together...
1998
The magical number was 221098, 2259h.
It was that date, that day which David asked Sue Lin to be his girlfriend... :)
It was not easy considering that time David was in army and Sue Lin in university.. But they had gone on several dates together, having dinner, catching movies, getting to know each other even better..
Ha.. Guess David was quite worried as there was bound to be many other guys in University :P
Day of Proposal
2006
Magical date still remains as 221006.
David proposed on the same date, 8 years after they first got together :)
To Sue Lin, it was kind of predictable, but the wait was long, haa, as David waited till the very minute 2259 h.
It was a nice, romantic dinner @ Olive Ristorante in Labrador Park.. Ambience was good, food was good, company was good :)
But till now, Sue Lin still 'harps' on David who did not propose with a bouquet of flowers :P
Proposal Ring
David bought it a few months ago before the proposal date.
:)
Though Sue Lin would like it to be bigger, still, it was the first ring that David had bought for her and symbolises his token of love for her & willingness to take care of her forever... With the help of this clear, sparkling diamond ring, his proposal was of course, a success!!!

We went to Tokyo Disneyland!! and we behaved totally like kids just for that day
Surprise Bouquet of Roses!
David bought it for Sue Lin when he was posted overseas for more than 1 month. It was a total surprise for Sue Lin and she even thought he bought the flowers for her mum whose birthday happened to be on that same day too!

Our Sentosa trip in 06
David knew Sue Lin was feeling very stressed and down because of work. He suggested going to Sentosa to relax and to try out the Luge ride.
It was great fun, trying to be like tourists and toured the Merlion, Carlesberg Sky Tower, History museum :)
