Dianne Pavia and Chuck Callahan announce upcoming nuptials

Redlands, CA – Dianne Pavia and Chuck Callahan have announced their engagement and are busy planning their wedding celebration. The event will be an intimate affair for the couple’s family and closest friends.

The couple met through match.com and had their first date on April 26, 2007. Less than three months later, Dianne was diagnosed with stage IV lymphoma and faced the fight of her life. When Dianne encouraged him to run away, Chuck gently replied “When God gives you a gift, you don’t give it back.” It was there, at her hospital bedside, that Chuck promised to be with her in sickness and in health and asked her to be his wife.

Dianne and Chuck will combine their matrimonial soiree with a cause close to their hearts – the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night Walk to raise funds for blood cancer research. The celebration will take place over two days: the ceremony and reception will be held on Friday evening, September 19, and the Light the Night Walk will occur the next evening on Saturday, September 20.

The website is updated regularly; information available for guests includes an interactive map, driving directions, and local accommodations. Guests can even make suggestions for music to be played at the reception.
