Where did the time go?!?!?
I just looked on our website and saw there are only 39 days until our wedding. This shouldn't be a surprise to me, since I do something wedding related everyday, but it was....it seems like the time has literally flown by, and the closer it gets the faster it goes. I'm sure i will learn this lesson over and over again during my life, but it was still a surprise. we just came back from a trip to CT to see my family, Danny's parents came with us..it was great. I always love seeing my family,...
busy bees
So theres only about 2 months (a little less) till the wedding and I couldn't feel busier! It seems like everyday I have a "to-do" list to complete. But it's nice to be planning for a happy event and not a sad one. I am SO BLESSED to have wonderful friends and family always offerring to help me. The things I have left are little things and details, which can be almost more stressful than the big stuff. It is definitely a good feeling to complete things though, with the wedding being so close...
4 months to go...
So there is just under 4 months until the wedding and I feel like its in full effect. Its exciting getting things done like invitations, cake, photos and flowers. I feel like its finally coming together. The thing I'm probably most worried about is forgetting one of the million little details that go into wedding planning. I wasn't the little girl who dreamed of her wedding day, so all of this is new to me. But its a lot of fun!
"You're the DJ?!?!"
So, we're trying to find a DJ, that is the next thing on the Wedding To-Do List. Its probably the hardest thing for me. I don't want any chicken-dancing, YMCA-ing or conga-lining (Sorry Chris Blake :) I just want FUN music where everyone wants to dance and enjoys the party. We met one guy who seems to get what I'm talking about, but we'll see. We haven't hired anyone yet and have a few more DJs to meet with. Keep your fingers crossed! :) xoxo KP
