February 15, 2008-Ariel and I closed on our townhome in St. Charles, IL. We're so excited! Ariel will be moving in this March and I will follow later in July! Keep an eye out for our housewarming party invitations!
Marriage License
Geneva, IL
March 12, 2008-Ariel and I stopped by the County Clerk's office in Geneva to get our marriage license for our civil ceremony this April 18th!
Won something!...
March 31, 2008-I actually won something! I was selected as a weekly winner for a Rachael Ray Cast Iron Mini Casserole Set on Brides.com! How exciting!
Civil Ceremony
Geneva, IL
April 18, 2008-Ariel and I are official! We had our civil ceremony at the Kane County Judicial Center with both of our families present. As soon as the judge said, "We are all gathered here today..." I couldn't help but start crying! Somehow we got through the 5 minute ceremony and had appetizers at our townhouse and dinner at Buca di Beppo. We're MARRIED! Big party next year!
Francesca's by the River
May 28, 2008-We booked our rehearsal dinner @ Francesca's by the River. It's a great Italian restaurant that's just blocks away from the church. How convenient! Our room will have a great stone fireplace and our very own bar!
We're going to get Maui-ed!
August 26, 2008-Ariel just booked our honeymoon to Maui!! So exciting! This will be a first for both of us, so we're hoping get in a good week of relaxation and honeymooning! Hawaii here we come!

September 7, 2008-Ariel & I had our engagement photo session with our amazing photographer Millicent Wong. Big thank you to my little brother, Richard, for playing assistant to our photographer and snapping his own incredible pics with his new DSLR. Wedding DJ
September 19, 2008-We signed our contract with our awesome wedding DJ today. We got to see them in action just a month ago at a friend's wedding.
Cake tasting
October 18, 2009-Ariel and I will be getting "sweet" at Bake for Me as we try to pick a delicous and gorgeous cake for all our guests to enjoy. So cast your votes while you can!
Tasting
November 5, 2008-Ariel and I are looking forward to sampling Pazzo's extensive menu to choose a dinner that all our guests can enjoy. This is the fun part!
Carbon 14 Films
November 9, 2008-Met today with Josh from Carbon 14 Films. We were already impressed by his work, but meeting him in person won us over. He's down to earth, incredibly knowledgeable, and an all around nice guy. Big thank you to Noelle for the reccomendation.
Lisa Branning Floral
January 30, 2009-Meeting with independent florist, Lisa Branning, on the recommendation of Noelle...thanks again! Hoping this will be my last meeting witha florist!
