It was June of 2004 when I walked into the bank lobby in Houston and first set eyes on Brandi. I was on my lunch break and had stopped by to say hello to a good friend who happened to be one of the managers of the branch at the time. Brandi was working at the front desk when I walked in, but she had stepped away for a minute or two, so I did not get a chance to see her upon my initial entry. It was when I was on my way out that I noticed Brandi and her beautiful smile as she helped her customers. I immediately thought to myself, "how did I miss that when I walked in"? I headed back to work, but kept thinking about the lady from the front desk. I walked to my cubicle and immediately called my friend back and said “who is that at the front desk”? He told me that her name was Brandi. The next words out of my mouth were “transfer me to the front”! He transferred the call, she picked up and I introduced myself and invited her to lunch on Friday of that week. She accepted my invitation and it went from there. Lunch at La Madeline’s turned out great, which led to many great conversations there and far thereafter. We discovered we were right under each others noses’ the whole time (at one point, my buddy and I used to jog right in front of her house two years before we met!). To sum it up, we met, continued dating and you can call the rest SARAN, because it was a WRAP!
