HIgh School Sweethearts
Silvery Beginnings...
I officially met Duke in health class sophomore year at Baldwin High School. He always made me laugh and smile. That summer, when I signed his yearbook, I left my number to call me too. So we would get together and go to the beach and hang out with friends. We grew closer through our friendship and when it came time for Junior Prom, Duke asked me to be his date, and of course I accepted! So when I found the perfect silver dress of my dreams, Duke was so sweet to have silver heart beads on his hair and silver accessories for me...then we rode off in the silver limo and the rest was history!
My Babe Rachael's Car History !!!
A favorite car and her name !!!
Back in the high school days, Rachael had an old Red Toyota Tercel hatchback she named "Nelly Bell". She always had extra clothes filled up in the back, with my body board's, fins, snorkel mask, & all sorts of stuff. Rachael would come and spend time with me and that car took us away from every stress of teenage life!
Nelly Bell took us to Big Beach to go surf and skim every week. Sometimes there would be the most awesome waves and we had the whole beach to our self. We partied there all the time when you could drive on to the beach. She even took us into La Perouse Bay on the four wheel drive road, in the dark, on the way to keg parties! GOOD TIMES !!! She was Rachael's favorite & faithful car!

Senior Lu'au
Hanahou...
Duke and I also went to our Senior Lu'au together which was fun. To actually think back that far back is amazing! I think I remember getting "Best Dressed" that night when senior awards were announced!
The Proposal...
Way back about 10 years ago, I came home from work one day and Duke was hanging out in our room (we had room mates at the time). As I was talking to him, I noticed something on his finger. I was like what is that? And he said, "What?". I said, "That!" And then he put the ring on my finger and asked me to marry me. Of course I teared up and said yes. With everything going on in life at that time, and me still being in college, we decided that we would wait for a better time to actually set our date. So this was also my promise ring!
Setting Our Life Goals
Buying Our First Home...
After living with roommates for a while, we finally got our own place together. We knew that one day we wanted to buy our own home so we worked hard on that goal. Within five years, we were able to find the right timing and opportunity to buy a perfect little home in Waikapu. This changed everything in our life for us to finally live our dreams.
Are You Married Yet?
Finally we found the perfect date to get married...
With the house goal completing, Duke and I knew that it was time to think about setting our wedding date...finally! After all these years with my gallery customers coming back year after year asking me if I am married yet, I can finally say we set our date! And that is huge news! So we had to find a date to remember and one that would give us plenty of time to prepare for and to know what comes after that!!! So mark your calendar for 10-10-10
