Planning the Wedding
Below are our ideas for the wedding so far. The themes, the venue, decor, and stuff we like. We are always open to suggestions and tips or new ideas!
The over-all theme:
Our theme is casual and colorful! Think casual country farm meets rustic Tuscan vineyard...that's just what we found in the Trezzi's amazing venue!
Our colors are pulled from our surroundings - barn red, orange fields, purple grapes, green vegitation, and dark teal mountains. And as for textures/accents, we like twine and burlap, copper and rusted metals, glass beading, and soft peacock feathers.

The Dresses
I got my first sewing machine last year (THANK YOU JOYCE!!!) and have taken it up quickly. I have a HUGE crush on the convertible dresses...but online and in stores they're $200 and up! You can were them a billion different ways. I found an easy pattern, found an organic fabric store that sells bamboo-cotton jersey in ivory and my wedding colors, and I'll just make my reception dress (floor length) and all my bridesmaids (knee/tea length) dresses by hand! GO ME!
The Men
As for the guys, we're really not that into black and white penguine suits - it's a casual outdoor wedding, and it will probably be hot - so lighter colors and materials will work best. Khaki pants and a dress shirt will probably be the winner!
