Laurel Park
If horse racing is your thing, this park has racing all year round. You can check out live races or watch telecasts.
Arundel Mills Mall
Get yo' shop on! Arundel Mills is a great outlet mall and has a lot of fun restaurants (including Dave and Busters and Medieval Times)as well as a huge movie theater.
Baltimore Inner Harbor

Baltimore is only a 20 minute drive north from Ashton and Ft. Meade. Great restaurants, Hard Rock Cafe, Aquarium. There's lots to see and lots to do. But be careful, parking can be scarce so be ready to park in a paid garage--it's well worth it!
