Dress Disorder
I had previously told you that I found the dress of my dreams! But now it seems that no one in Chattanooga or the greater surrounding area has it in their store....and this my friends, means I would have to make the gutsiest decision of all which would be ordering it hoping it is flawless and looks just like it does in the picture! A small ray of light is beginning to shine at the end of the tunnel though! A shop in Franklin, TN will have one on their floor in mid February and I am more than willing to make that road trip! I feel as though a girl's wedding dress is the icing on the cake. Never, ever settle, because your dress will portray whatever image you are going for on the big day. I want to sparkle and shine while feeling like an absolute princess and I honestly believe this is the dress that will do just that. And I think my mom finds great satisfaction in knowing she is the one who found it. I can see her now while we are getting ready saying, "and just think if I had never found this, who knows what we would have done!" :) Oh Connie....
Last night I had a fabulous girls night with my bridesmaids. Well except for my cousin Megan, who is on a family trip in Italy the poor thing :) We all met at Provino's for dinner where the gossip & wine were flowing, the laughs were endless, & my friendships have never felt stronger. Each girl brought something different to the table, not literally :), and that's what I can never get enough of! I can always count on practicality, comedy, complete randomness, & wholesomeness. We then all headed over to the movies to watch Bride Wars. It was a ideal movie to see with them and the only thing that would have made it unbelievably perfect would have been to have had the theater all to ourselves...granted there weren't many people in there and we talked, commented, & laughed enough that you would have thought we were the only ones in there! As I watched those two friends on the screen go through the craziness and excitment of planning their weddings and ultimately being there for each other no matter what, I couldn't help but to feel so fortunate to be sitting there with 4 girls who, no matter what, will wipe my tears, calm me down, pep me up, share in celebrations, & do countless favors not only in preparation for my wedding, but every day for the rest of our lives.
