Less then 2 weeks away!
I have one word to say and that is WOW! Time has really gone by super fast, and I can not believe we are getting married so soon. I am really excited, nervous, stressed, and READY! I am sorry I haven't updated this website in a while. I addded an accomodations link for guests coming from out of town, so if you haven't, please check that out.
My mom has helped me tremendously with all of the planning. We have everything pretty much set up, it's just a matter of getting everything to come together.
My bridal portraits came back this weekend and they are amazing. I highly recommend Hershel Self to anyone looking for high-quaility, unique, and creative photographs!
We meet one more time with the florist on Tuesday, and she will probalby want to meet with me again next week. Ann Marie at Mystic Floral is great. She made a bouquet for me to use for my bridal portaits for free because she has been SUPER swamped and it's been hard for us to meet up.
Aunt Glenda has already started on the rose topper for my wedding cake. She is extremely talented. I am so excited to see my cake!!
Bridgette at Holiday Inn at the Falls has been super helpful. She is going to be around during the reception in case we need something. Also, she has offered to help my mom, dad, Nick, etc. set up! :)
There are obviously some last minute details we have to work out, but everything has gone pretty well so far.
The only thing I am nervous about is not using a DJ. We are using Twicebroken's (Nick's band) PA system and hooking a mic and iphone up to it (with a charger). Bridgette told me that a lot of people don't use DJ's anymore and that there are alot of brides that use PA's instead--so that made me feel moe comfortable.
I guess I am also nervous about the order events and the reception and I just hope everything there goes smoothly. My uncle is going to be making the announcments--which is awesome--and Hershel (my photogrpaher) has offered to tell him when to announce what (he is AWESOME)...so I think everything will be fine--and if anything does go wrong, I hope everyone is too drunk to notice! LOL! ;)
The next time I update this I will probably be a married woman. YAY!
