Emily and Sam met while working at Camp Bovey, and have been friends for a few years now. Sam was instrumental in giving Emily the courage to ask Ryan to go out.
Sam just finished up her MSW from UND, and is now working as an administrative assistant and crisis line operator for People, Incorporated.
As the maid of honor, Sam planned the bride's shower and bachelorette parties. Fun times!!
Eric Holten

Ryan and Eric have been friends since the sixth grade - even though they were in the same class since third grade. They also went through college together.
Eric works at Thompson Reuters in Eagan, MN. He enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee!
Eric planned Ryan's bachelor party.

Emily and Elena are cousins and good friends. Emily was in Elena's wedding in October 2007. Hopefully Elena won't embarrass Emily during her speech like Emily did to her!
Elena works at Target in Saint Louis Park, MN as a team lead in the meat department (even though she is a vegetarian).
Liz Elton

Emily and Liz are friends and were housemates. Liz is really excited about the wedding, and has helped Emily look at dresses and interview a DJ. ("Right on") She also addressed invitations, and crafted the card box.
Liz goes to Minneapolis College of Art and Design, where she will finish up her photography degree next fall.
Danny Smith

Emily and Danny are not only brother and sister but great friends.
He is currently a sophomore at Burnsville High School and Envision Performing Arts magnet school.
Danny licked, sealed, and stamped all of the invitations.
Erik Root

Ryan and Erik met in college, and now they are both music teachers. Erik has been very supportive of us.
Erik teaches choir, band, music theory, history of rock, and recording technology at Studio Academy in Rochester, MN.
Charles Hainsworth

Emily and Charles met in high school, and now he is one Ryan's close friends too! Charles' girlfriend, Lisa, is a florist and is making all of our bouquets, corsages, and boutineers.
Charles goes to Minneapolis Community and Technical College and works for a computer programming small business in Minneapolis.

Emily works at Cigna in Eden Prairie. She and her husband Masud just had a baby girl, Lyla, in January.

She worked as a social worker in Minneapolis Public Schools until she retired last year. She is enjoying all of her freetime at her home on Madeline Island, located in Lake Superior.
