Bride's Perspective
Hello all! Here, I plan to use the blog as a place to share exciting updates about the wedding planning as well as find a release of the many stresses I am sure to encounter over the (brief) 3 month planning process. Thankfully, the wedding already includes lots of things so I just have to focus on a few items. Woo hoo!

After going to Vegas for Christmas, my mom and I were finally able to make our "Save the Dates." They are so cute and adorable and were a pain in the butt to make so, we hope you love them as much as we do!
Cake testing and Laguna Village!
Today we were finally able to view our venue. It is beautiful! You are all going to love it! Although, the pain part was definitely the lack of parking. Those of you who know the area know how tight and congested with traffic the streets are. Check back to this website later (and look in your wedding invitations) for direction cards which will also have possible parking locations. We also went to Donna B's Bakery to choose and taste our cake...
Guest list, save the dates and out of staters, oh my!
Mommy! Of course, now that I am finally getting married, my mom lives in another state! NOT conducive to easy planning. Oh well, we will just have to make it work. And now, I have to make the save the dates, find hotel accommodations for out of towners, figure out who will be on the guest list with the scant 50 chairs I have available. Lot of decisions to make! Oh my! And, colors . . . . chocolate and pink is now being considered changing into chocolate...
Sharing the news!
Through the past week, we were finally able to share the news of our wedding and engagement with our families and friends. We actually booked the wedding back in October of 09! However, I didn't want to share our happy news until we were "official." Code for "I now have my ring!" I still haven't told everyone at school which is creating a bit of an uncomfortable situation of who knows? Who knows but is pretending not to know until I tell them directly? Who...
