One of Eric and Katie's favorite restaurants in the area.

Eric recommends the meat loaf and the brewer's club and their brews: Erik the Red or Line Drive Light.
Katie recommends the steak, honey chicken sandwich, or chicken genovese (pasta) with a Dixie Palmer or flavored iced tea :-)

Eric and Katie BOTH recommend the spicy spinach cheese dip for an appetizer!

Wrigley Field-Cubs Game

Wrigley Field-Cubs Game

Chicago, IL

The Cubs are playing Cincinatti the weekend of our wedding. It shouldn't be impossible to find tickets(check the Cubs website or stubhub.com), but if you want to wing it--get to the game an hour or two early and purchase bleacher seats! They're the best seats in the house.

Millenium Park

Millenium Park

201 E Randolph St

Chicago IL

Millenium Park is a classic Chicago highlight. Stop by the familiar faces in the unique waterfalls, take a photo of your reflection in the bean and bring a blanket to hang out in park for a free concert in the Jay Pritzger Pavilion.

The weekend of our wedding is Grant Park's 75th annual Music Festival, featuring the Grant Park Orchestra and Chorus playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto #3. Stop by early on Saturday for a good seat!

Historical/Architectural Chicago Boat and Walking Tours

There are several options for boat tours--I would recommend trying them. You start on the Chicago River in the heart of the city and make it all the way to Navy Pier.

Or try an architectural walking tour through Gold Cost, Old Town or Lincoln Park neighborhoods of diverse Chicago.

While Chicago's sales taxes are the highest in the U.S. I wouldn't recommend doing any serious shopping here, but you can't skip a stroll down Chicago's Magnificant Mile on Michigan Avenue in the busiest part of the city.
Window shop over 450 retails stores from Chicago St to Grand, and make sure to peek into Chicago's famous Drake Hotel along the way to take a peek in the ornate lobby and catch drinks in their lounge.
