Dear Katie:
I am experiencing two emotions here, one of jubilation and one of sadness. I am so excited that God gave you to a Christian man and you plan on continuing to serve the Lord but I am also sad that my daughter (adopted 15 years ago) is leaving me to go to a foreign state. I know the weather is nicer there but that is no excuse. I will miss you. We love you lots!

So excited for you guys. It was 10 years ago this past October 22 that Fred proposed to me, it was the thrill of my life. Even though the distance will be hard. Savor every moment you can during during your engagement. It only comes once. Congratulations!!!
