UPDATE! 09/08/08

Wow! We did it! Well, now we're home. Our wedding was so wonderful and amazing. We can't thank everyone who helped, came or sent their well wishes enough. It was truly the day we always dreamed of. We left everyone and Gustav to head to Cancun. We had an exciting and relaxing honeymoon! We're now back to the grind of work, grad school and unpacking our apartment.

UPDATE! 08/26/08

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have become very aware of Hurricane Gustav..to say the least. We wanted to take a moment to answer some questions that have been floating around.

1) Yep! We're having the wedding no matter what! Why you ask?
Gustav will not hit the Gulf Coast until Monday. It is expected to have 10% chance of rain in Birmingham on Sunday. So we're good to go with that.

2) For our friends and families in the path of the storm, WE COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO TRAVEL! Please take the time you need to prepare your family and home. Be Safe! If you have RSVPed and have decided not to come, PLEASE let us know. So we can adjust dinner orders and that way we won't be worried that you're broke down on the side of I-65 somewhere.

3) For those of you who pack and leave, well welcome to our wedding weekend (aka hurricane party) The 4-H Center is available for resrvations on into the next week! We'd love to have you. We may still leave for our honeymoon, but you're welcome to stay and enjoy.

Last of all, make good decisions, take care of your homes and families and if you can join us, please do. We love all of you and hope so much that we don't have to endure the pains we all know so well.

Just remember one thing, the wedding will only last one day, our marriage will last for years to come. There's plenty of time to celebrate!

Welcome to our wedding website! We're so glad that you came to visit! We are going to use this site as a tool to help our out-of-town guest make plans and learn more about the venues we're using for the wedding.

We would first like to thank everyone who has been so supportive throughout our relationship and especially during this time of engagement. Our families and friends have played vital roles in our lives and we are so blessed.

This is the reason why we are especially excited to share our wedding day and all of Labor Day weekend with all of you! In additon to our wedding ceremony we hope that you can come and share a fun-filled weekend with our friends and families!
