Bride and Groom
Faith and Patrick are both physical therapists who love to try new things.
They look forward to sharing new adventures together and have actually backpacked in Europe, hiked the lava flow in the Big Island of Hawaii, snuba dived in the waters of Kona in Hawaii, got sick while in Peru, and have recently returned from their honeymoon in Australia.
They both own their apartments in Queens and Faith, just having moved in with Patrick, is now preparing to put her apartment for sale this summer. They both hope to settle down in Westchester county to be near their respective jobs, and eventually move to the West coast within the next five years.
Faith
Faith is a foodie and a wanderer who followed her heart to love.
She is always on her laptop researching the next travel-related thrill or the next dish to try. Among her favorite food is anything spicy, Belgian or seafood. She has actually gotten sick by trying street food in Mexico, baby mice wine in China and Bahian food in Brazil. She also likes to try different kinds of tea and beer from all over the world and strongly recommends African rooibos tea and Kwak beer from Belgium.
Faith has traveled to more than a dozen countries on six continents. She dreams of going on a cruise to Antarctica one day, hopefully before all the icebergs melt!
Faith's favorite place in the world is the Blue Lagoon in Iceland. But according to her, of all the places that she has been to in the world, she feels most at home with Patrick.
Faith's childhood dream was to become a pilot so she can travel the world but her eyesight failed her.
Faith is the youngest of five children and plans to start a family as soon as possible as well as continue her career as a rehabilitation case manager.
Patrick
Patrick is a music lover and a thrill seeker who risked his job to gain love.
He is never without his ipod. He used to play bass guitar in a band called Federales and a very good one at that. He enjoys playing his guitar and singing his own songs to Faith.
Patrick likes to snowboard in the winter and mountain bike in the summer. That is, if he has time. He had suffered from so many injuries but that never stopped him. In fact, he is very proud of his scars! He has tried backcountry snowboarding, surfing, snuba diving, parasailing, white water rafting, rock climbing and sky diving. He dreams of going to New Zealand and Chile so he can snowboard one day and surf on the ocean the next.
Patrick's favorite place in the world is at the top of Whistler mountain in British Columbia, Canada where he thinks of Faith and the life that they will share together.
Patrick's childhood dream was to become a baseball player, a second baseman to be specific, but he is now contented on rooting for his favorite team, the Mets.
Patrick plans to continue to work as a physical therapist and as an only child, he is eager to start a large family.
