Our Story

It is a luxury to get a decent 2G(!) internet connection with a 3G modem in the quiet town of Temerloh. So when an e-mail popped on my Friendster account with an accompanying picture of a smiling man wearing a formal jacket and holding a violin asking me if I'm related to his colleague, I was intrigued, especially by his name.

E-mails graduated to IM, and soon enough we SMSed each other. But we never met until 3 months later when I was already working in Cameron Highlands.
We finally met the day after my sister's engagement. He took me on a double date with his brother and his fiancee to see the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.

I cannot remember what songs from which composer, but I remember him explaining the seating arrangements in an orchestra and how everyone will tune their piece to the note of A set by the clarinet. And every once in a while a middle-aged couple sitting in front of us would glare at us in contempt of ruining their otherwise perfect musical evening.

And that's how it started.
