We had such a wonderful time in Avalon, Catalina Island's major city. Some of our activities: swimming, golf cart driving, parasailing, scuba diving, kayaking, and snorkeling. We also went on a tour of the Casino and watched Night at the Museum II in its theater!

Surprisingly, even though I'm a huge karaoke fan, it was Gil who persuaded me to sing with him on stage to Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" in front of El Galleon's patrons. We didn't even know the words...or the tune! All we knew was the refrain. We left the bar after our performance, upon which I immediately began to accost Gil for making me go on stage with him.

Perhaps like most newlyweds, we also caught up on a lot of much needed rest.
