Diana and Glen had the pleasure of being introduced a number of times over the years, this is how their story went:

The first time they met Glen was still a student at Brock and had travelled with their women’s soccer team to an indoor tournament hosted by Carleton. At this point Glen knew a few of the therapists working at Carleton so he had gone over to the main therapy area and got introduced to several Carleton players that had volunteered to work the tournament, one of which was Diana...first meeting = no sparks.

The second introduction occurred a couple years later. At this point Glen was working as a therapist for Carleton while Diana was on the varsity soccer team. At the year end athletic banquet, Glen was having a few drinks with a co-worker when Diana had stopped by to say hi to him. Again Glen and Diana were introduced...second meeting = no sparks.

Finally in the fall of 2006, Glen was hired to be a therapist for the Carleton Men’s Soccer team and Diana was about to start her final year as a player on the team. While once again we were introduced, and had bumped into each other around the therapy room, and on road trips, there still weren’t any sparks. Finally one night, both teams had got together for a night out of fun. Glen was attending the night out more as of a supervisor to make sure nothing got out of hand, and Diana as a senior member of her team. Glen was about to leave the bar when out of nowhere, Diana approached him to help her escape the unpleasant company from someone at the bar. This led to their first ever lengthy conversation, finding out they had many things in common, which led to many more...lots of sparks now and as they say, the rest is history!

Tuvimos el placer de ser introducidos varias veces por varios años, y la historia va algo asi:

La primera vez que nos conocimos, Glen era todavia estudiante de la Univerisdad de Brock y habia viajado con el equipo de fut de esta Universidad a un torneo invitacional en la Universidad de Carleton. Para entonces Glen conocia a un par de terapistas trabajando para Carleton y cuando estaba el visitando la clinica, el fue introducido a un par de jugadoras del la U de Carleton que habian voluntareado para trabajar el torneo, una de estas jugadoras era Diana….primer encuentro = no hubo chispas.

La Segunda introduccion ocurrio un par de años despues. Para entonces ya Glen estaba trabajando como terapista en la Universidad de Carleton mientras Diana seguia en el equipo de fut de esta. Al final del año, en la fiesta de cierre de los equipos de la U, Glen estaba con un compañero de trabajo tomando un aperitivo cuando Diana paro a decir hola a este amigo de Glen, De Nuevo Diana y Glen fueron introducidos…Segundo encuentro = no hubo chispas.

Finalmente, en el Otoño del 2006, Glen fue contratado para ser el terapista del equpo de fut de hombres de la Universidad de Carleton, mientras que Diana estaba por jugar su ultimo año para el equipo. Cuando, nuevamente fuimos introducidos, y nos encontrabamos en la clinica y en los viajes de fines de semana con nuestros respectivos equipos, no habia chispas entre los dos. Finalmente, una noche, ambos equipos de fut se juntaron para salir a parrandear un fin de semana. Glen salio esa noche mas como supervisor del equipo de hombres, y Diana como veterana del equipo iba encargada de cuidar a sus compañeras. Glen estaba apunto de irse del bar cuando Diana se aparecio y le pidio a Glen que porfavor la rescatara de alguien que no la dejaba en paz. Esta evento causo que los dos tuvieran una amable y larga conversacion que resulto siendo agradable y caimos en la conclusion que teniamos los dos muchas cosas en comun… esta vez muchas chispas y como dicen , el resto es historia!
