Everything seemed so right the day I met Glenda. I was in Pine Bluff for the weekend (August 2006) to attend my brother's birthday party. That weekend I stayed with my sister, Cynthia. She told me that her friend wanted to meet me. I knew the name but I could not remember her face. We decided to pay a suprise visit to her church that Sunday (New St. Hurricane Baptist Church). My sister mentioned that she also sang in the choir and was singing that Sunday. Once we arrived at church, I immediately started looking in the choir stand. That particular morning my contacts were out of focus. I put eyedrops in and finally got my contacts focused. I scanned the choir to try to find her. Once I saw her I knew exactly who she was. The amazing thing that caught my eyes was the light shining down on her. It looked like God was giving me a sign that she was the one for me. I will never forget that magical moment. I could not stop smiling. We started a friendship that span over a few years. The rest is history...I am so happy that I will be marrying my friend and I look forward to us spending our life together as husband and wife.

I must admit that this picture really captures the true love we both share for each other...We were hanging on Beale Street in Memphis when this memory of us was captured.
