Running out of Time!
Ok, it's only 6 months and 21 days left until the wedding and I still haven't sent Save the Dates out or even ordered invitations. Luckily, I've already spoken with all of our guests and they are still definitely planning on coming and will buy plane tickets soon or have already bought their plane tickets (Woohoo!!!)! As it turns out, many people are planning extended trips and are arriving either earlier than our wedding week to tour other areas of Europe or are staying later to tour Europe.
As many of you know, we have already booked our overnight trip to Paris for Sept 7-8. We booked this through Priceline's Bid your own price and got an amazing deal near the Champs Elysees area. On our way back to the chateau on Sept 8, we would like to stop and see Versailles palace.
Still trying to organize and figure out music for the ceremony which I keep planning on doing every weekend, but something always seems to come up and we never seem to have time. Oops!
I did pick out all of my wedding jewelry and wedding shoes while I was on a business trip in Dallas (at Sam Moon - best knock off jewelry place ever!). And I also picked out my veil this weekend! Why is it that whenever the word bridal or wedding is attached to something, the price is like 300-400% higher???
We are also planning on having a pre-wedding celebration for everyone who is unable to come to France on Aug 15, at Wickham Park Pavilion. A very casual backyard bbq style outting. We hope it will be a fun time for everyone! We'll play some softball, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. As long as it doesn't rain, it should be a good time!
