House Updates
Our kitchen is more complete now with the electronics items and cutlery. We got some from the mega NTUC mart @ Ang Mo Kio Hub & storage containers from Ikea last week. Buying items for our home is very differnt from the usual grocery shopping, We take more notice on the functions, design and budget rather than buying on impulse. Hao's Update 3
Hi all, here's a small update from me. Recently we are busy with our house renovation, furniture purchase and house cleaning. On 13th Aug 2009, it was our first night at our simei home. The feeling was refreshing as it was the first time waking up with XY and going for breakfast then work together. On sat, our washing machine, fan and rice cooker arrive finally. Almost ready now
We spent our PH off in lieu (National Day) cleaning up our house with the help of our family. Managed to put up the curtains, set up the stuff we got from Ikea and organize our stuff abit. It's starting to feel more homely with the furnitures coming in.The 6 of us were really shag by the end of the day but it feels great to see much progress. We will be staying there occassionally to give it some human presence as the Chinese 7th month is round the corner. Internet access will be up...
Photoshoot Day
Today is our Photoshoot Day and we are lucky the weather is perfect for outdoor shoot. Love the sun & the skys. Our choice of photoshoot locations include Temasek Poly (The place we met), Changi Aiport T3 (Our frequent handout) and Changi Point (for the sunset). We wore a total of 6 outfits - Chinese Kua, Japanese, Victorian, Wedding Gown, Evening Gown and Outdoor Gown and each and we love each and everyone of them. ROM Day
The next chaper of our life starts on 28 July 09, our ROM Day ! Had a good night sleep before and we meet at 10:15am - Cityhall for breakfast before we proceed to Bliss Bridal for our makeup/hairdo. Our makeup artist - Vivien was already there waiting for us with her magic box. The makeup process was rather enjoyable except for the smell of hair spray.. i now truely understands how a cockroach feels like when we keep spraying it. Hao's personal update
This busy month of July we made many purchase of furniture and home appliances using the best budget we have. I am good to say we bought the best within our budget in a way that satisfy our needs and not make our parents crazy over them.
I am very looking forward to seeing my fridge, TV, washing machine being delivered.
August would be even busier as date to our wedding is closer. Our planned move in date is in August as well, making it even more hectic.

One last step to make it official
8:30 am sharp the shutters of the ROM roll up slowly... Our queue number is 8 , lucky number eh. And we are seated in the waiting area watching the huge tv playing some videos on marriage life including communications, sensitivity, sexual intimacy etc.. No mood to watch, we were observing what the other couples are doing. Less than 10 mins time, our Q number appear and we went to the front desk where it's jus less than 2 metres away from the waiting area in full view of other couples....

Our strawberry house is almost completed... so far we both are quite satisfied with the concept and colour theme except for some minor mistakes which are still acceptable. Cant expect everything to be perfect but at least 95% turn out the way we want it. Today we have our 4th visitor (Excluding our family members) .. Ms Kx Tan + Ash who came to check out the progress.. Our main door is up and i love it...Guess what's missing ??? Scroll down to find out. Our door unit number is missing lo... Now the only things left to complete the renovation would be installation of door knobs on the room doors, solid surface for the kitchen counter top and the mechanism for hanging clothes... We should be expecting our first few items (fridge, washing machine, fan , rice cooker to arrive by 1 - 2nd week of Aug. Our house warming shld be somewhere...

We went Best Denki for a walk today and more or less confirmed that we are getting the following items. 1. Hitachi Washing Machine with pink on top !!! 2. Samsung White Fridge with water dispenser !!! 22 days to our ROM !!!
