Sneak preview of our bedroom
Paint work is finally completed and we are happy with the colours... here's a sneak preview of our masterbed /guest room walls Here's our enormous wardrobe at my special request... It's a major upgrade for Hao.. his present wardrobe is only 1/3 of the pic below ... Our clothes are happy to move over to their new home... hehe and we have space to add more.. Taiwan, BKK here we come !!!
My Share of update
It has been a long time since i updated this blog ever since i passed the blog update to Sindy. She is a diligent blogger while i am a lazy blogger. Our house is pretty much still renovating with satisfactory progress. Though i have spent around $2k to purchase toilet items and lights, i think i already made the best use of my money. Normally i gave myself an estimated budget to work with when purchasing multiple items. I even created excel sheets controlling, tabulating and...
Lights selected and timeline updates
We head down to Balestier today after work to select our lights.. which is a total of 7 items (Kitchen x2, Dinning, Living, Rooms X 3).. went to 3 shops and decided on the last one. We are glad that we managed to get our ideal lights within our budget.. Timeline Update as follows 1. Toilet installations - to complete by end of this week 2. Lights installations - to complete by end of next week 3. Painting - to complete over the next 3 weeks 4....
Aircon and Switches tab up
Amost 1 month of renovation, our kitchen/toilets are 60% done.. We are left with cabinets/toilet items and lights to install. Our power points, switches tab as well as our aircon are finally up today. Love the huge tabs... Here's our aircon which is still dress in it's "clothes.. We're looking forward to see the walls in their new coat of paint which should be done by end of next week together with installation of toilet stuff (bowls, basins, heater etc).
Renovation progress update
Our strawberry kitchen tiles are done and what's left would be installation of cabinet and lights. We pop down to Sim Siang Choon after work today to choose our toilet items which would be delivered next Monday... i didnt know choosing of toilet stuff could be such a headache.. esp the basins are made up of so many different parts... Here's our items - 2 Mirrors - 2 Toilet Bowls - 2 Basins - 2 Taps for the toilet - 1 Tap for the kitchen - 1 Water heater We are glad we managed to keep...
Renovation week 2
Something crop up a few days back and we had to retile our whole kitchen floor.. had a little argument over the colours of the tiles but all settled now.. To put our mind at east, we decided to check out the progress of our house reno after work today. We are happy with the progress.. we heart our bathrooms (black & white theme) and my strawberry kitchen. I guess coming up next would be the kitchen cabints and selection of toilet utilities... still deciding to do a shower...

1 week has passed since reno started... and here's our 3rd visitor - Stephanie With the standard pose Today we see some progress with our tiles... See that ugly pipe on the right.. we gona box it up with our cabinets... Spot something that made my day.. i hope its not just the plastic colour...it's a Pink Dustbin...:D The toilets are in the midst of tilling.. shall update again in our next pose.
Our naked kitchen/toilets wall
We went to check out the progress of ur house today after work...the hacking of the tiles for the kitchen and both toilets were almost done.. wished we can get rid of the pipes too ... We're replacing the old tiny tiles (original from HDB) with bigger rectangles with floral prints on the walls and plain black ones on the ground. The shower head area shall have 2 stripes of black floral prints on the wall. Hope it turn out the way i want it. We hope the new...

Our first few mails
We have been visiting our house almost everyweek to check out our letter box and also give some Yuan Qi (Human presence) to our home.. It's not too healthy to leave a house empty for long period... Our first few mails have also arrived and as expected its all about payment and bills... We are trying as much as we can to arrange everything through Giro (our joint acct) to minimize our hassle monthly... Renovation has also started.. the toilet bowls were stripped and tiles...
