Once again, an auspicious date have to be selected for setting up of Bridal Bed. It is part of a chinese wedding customary. After which,a couple who are considered to have good fortune all throughout their lives (with healthy & living sons) will help to make the bed and place certain good fortune fruits & food on the bed.
As for us, that auspicious day would be 15th May 2008, and our good fortune couple would be our parents. They would help us to adjust the bed, place 4 angpows at the corners of the bed and place Longan/PakHup/LinZhi/RedDates on the bed. The bed will then be left untouched until the day of our wedding.
