We had been discussing marriage for a few months prior to the offical proposal.

Two of my best friends flew into town. A few nights before there arrival, I received a call from my friend Seleana asking me if we would all like to go out for dinner. She mentioned that her husband had passes for a free dinner at a local bistro as one of his musician friends would be performing.

That night both my friends Leandrea and Chanel were to arrive into Atl. around 7:30pm. We were then supposed to head over to the restaurant to meet Seleana. Well both flights were delayed, there was a terrible storm and I was very frustrated. They eventually arrived late that night. Finally we headed over to the restaurant.

The waitress that served us was AWFUL. She was very rude, unprofessional and just irritating the heck out of me. Normally I wouldve been the 1st to put her in her place however this night I was just way too tired. The waitress finally after a long wait brought out everyones food ...except for mine. Eventually she became even more rude and starting making remarks each time she left the table. Finally she asked "Do you want to see a manager"
I said "Yes"

The manager comes out. This tall guy with dreads. He came over to our table and stood there as if he was about to jump on us.

Turns out it was Herb. He was dressed as a Jamaican and got down on his knee and proposed. I stil didnt realize that it was him. He had to start taking off the costume in order for me to realize that it was him in front of me. I kept trying to figure out why this guy was so close into my space being that I did not know him. The entire table just started laughing as none of us (except for Seleana who was in on everything) knew that it was him until he opened up the ring box and got on his knee.

After all of that....I forgot to say Yes. I was still in shock

It was the best night EVER!!
