Veka Thompson
Maid of honor
Younger sister of the bride, Veka has been Ingi's best of friends since birth (well, once she got over that I-can't-talk-so-I-cry-all-the-time-instead phase of infancy, anyway). A spunky and creative chick, Veka adds flair to any festivity!
Veka lives in Danville, VA and is training to become an EMT.
Mike Bickett
Best man
Mike was one of the first good friends Ingi made upon moving to Richmond. Then when Jay moved to Richmond later on he too became swell friends with Mike. They get along so swimmingly that Jay has asked Mike to be his honorable best man.
Mike lives in Richmond where he writes and performs comedy.
Lindsay (Levit) Burton
Bridesmaid
Winning the title of "person in the world most like Ingi Thompson" the two have been best buds since those angst-ridden teenage years of yore back in Danville. Levit (along with Ramone) later lived with Ingi in Richmond where they engaged in much party promoting, stimulating intellectual conversation and general mischief.
Levit lives in Atlanta, GA where she teaches and is working on her PhD in literature.
Jeremy Flora
Groomsman
Jay's rock'n'roll ally in high school, Jeremy was in the Danville-based band The Voxals with Jay. Years later, the rock'n'rollin' persists.
Jeremy lives in Richmond where he is pursuing a career in theater.
Casey Tate
Bridesmaid
The little sister of Jay, Casey had to put up with all the loud drumming that came emanating from Jay's bedroom as they grew up. Amazingly, Casey still has her hearing and she and Jay are still close friends.
Casey is based in Danville but goes to school full-time in Farmville, VA where she studies law enforcement.
Haak Thompson
Groomsman
The older brother of Ingi, Haak was always around for endless hours of playing GI Joes in the backyard or beating up the playground bully on Ingi's behalf. The two have grown up to as good of friends in adulthood as they were in childhood.
Haak lives in Winston-Salem, NC where he is studying to become an RN.
Nickey Goad
Bridesmaid
Also a friend since junior high, Nickey completes Ingi's quartet of best friends. A hilarious jokester with impeccable style and musical taste, Nickey is an indispensable member of the crew.
Nickey keeps it real back in their hometown of Danville, VA where she raises two awesome sons.
Lindsey (Ramone) Jefferson
Bridesmaid
Surrogate sister of the bride, Ramone has known Ingi since the beginning of junior high school. There, they bonded over a shared love for the Ramones and a shared dislike of hideous fleece Mickey Mouse vests and the two have been best friends ever since.
Ramone currently resides in Danville, VA but is moving back to her true home of Richmond, VA in the near future.
