I was able to pull Espie into coming with me to the Wedding Summit held by Themes and Motifs at A Venue. It was my first time to go to that mall and I was really surprised to see that it was so near our office. Ang daming nice restaurants. Anyway, my main purpose for going to the summit was to try and see if we could book some of our remaining suppliers. We've basically booked most of them.. the only ones remaining are:

On the afternoon of Saturday, May 31, Chichi Sotomil texted me to say that her appointment for Sunday morning suddenly got cancelled. Scouting for Designers and the Perfect Bridal Gown
Since I got engaged, I've visited four designers/couturiers in search for the perfect bridal gown. I've visited the following and here are my comments: Mila Santiago De Leon - She has a good eye for designs. In fact I liked her first design for me and I'm really thinking of getting her for my bridal gown.She seems quite easy to talk to. May kamahalan ang kanyang entou gowns. Bohol Here We Come!
Yay! Finally we've booked our flight to Tagbilaran! Grabe ang haba ng pila sa Mabuhay Miles Service Center in Makati. Pero atleast it was worth it. We were able to make use of my frequent flier miles kaya nakatipid din kami kahit malaki pa rin yung tax. We were also aiming for the flight on the 27th kaya lang late na ang flight, around 3PM. More Bookings.. and Payments! Waaa!!
More updates! We booked our wedding cake supplier "Piece of Cake" by Yumi Castrillo ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/yummypieceofcake/ ) last week. Before we decided on booking her, we met with her and had a taste of her delicious cupcakes. Espie loved them at first bite hehe.. di ko na sya kinailangan i-convince. Namili na agad ng flavor and he even specified the design of the cute mini cutting cake. We also arranged for part of our "wedding cake" to be distributed as souvenirs....
Monograms
Over the weekend I just tried out some possible designs for our monogram. Through some w@wies, I got the idea to make our own instead of asking for someone to design it for us. Sabi nila its more proper daw to have the initial of the bride first pero I think its better to have the groom's first.. hehe anyway I think thats the norm sa Pinas. Let me know what you think. Syempre I used our colors (although ang hirap maghanap ng teal blue and chocolate brown) but the colors are a little off.....
Dream Weddings Expo - SM Megatrade Hall
We went to our second wedding expo today at SM Megamall. Maliit lang sya.. wala masyadong suppliers pero atleast di kami nastress sa dami hehe.. We were able to book our florist (who's from Dangwa stall #11) and I had my first trial makeup (for free).

Themes and Motifs Wedding Expo
I've just been to my third wedding expo and I must say this is the most fruitful so far.. Why? Because this time, Espie was actually with me and we actually booked some suppliers for our wedding hehe.. anywayz... sobrang nakakapagod pa rin. Got there at around 10:30AM and we left around 4:30PM na. We were able to book our invites and wedding rings. I hesitated to book the bridal car kasi its too early pa naman. Ibeth and Pam were also there for their first big wedding expo hehehe.....
