"Will you marry me?" comes with a lot of hard work, perseverance, and love. This moment is a man's dream come true when it comes to the right woman. However, it is not an easy task when you have a nosy girlfriend (the case for Ivan). For a year, Ivan worked at his goal knowing that Vanessa was the perfect one for him- trying very hard to keep it under Vanessa's nose. On December 14, 2008, Ivan and Vanessa packed for their regular Disney Christmas vacation (or so it seemed to Vanessa). With nosiness also comes lack of patience for Vanessa (something that was failed to be said in the previous statement). This being said, it had been a few months that Vanessa was after Ivan inquiring about the proposal and wedding and when it would become official. So, approaching the exit of Disney, Vanessa began inquiring some more about this moment. With Ivan's anxiousness (which is another great quality to add to our relationship) and Vanessa's lack of patience, the ring was presented. Of course, it wasn't the proposal because it was not the original plan. It came to December 17, 2008 where they were going about their routine-like activities at Disney, like watching the fireworks from their favorite spot at the Polynesian Resort, when all of a sudden Ivan seemed shaky, got down on one knee and proposed (the way he had planned from the start).
