James and Karima have been together for 3 years! We will be tying the not just three days after our 5th year together.
James:
Our first date was at a waffle house, which Karima didn't hesistate to tell me I had a booger in my nose while I was talking...
Karima:
I didn't say THAT!!!
James:
First, this story ended on August 9th,2008 but was post marked since sometime in February. Literally, every-other-day Karima would get argumentively upset at me because she wanted to know when we would get married. Seeing everyone around her getting married and hours of watching weddings on TLC it was only inevitable right? From day in to day out, it was nerve wrecking to listen to her(my girlfriend at the time)griping about her boyfriend(me) being stagnant, don't cherish marriage-and something in that nature of some milk and buying a cow...Listening to this was very painful but amusing at the same time..Coincidently, it was hilarious when she was the one that caught the bouquet at her cousin's wedding in June 2008. Remember, I had the "little box," aka jaw-dropper,aka tear jerker, aka kodak moment wayyyy back in February. So you know what I had to listen to going home all night?? So long story short, about a month or two later for our 3rd year anniversary we decided to go to Orlando,Fl. With this being said, we went via airplane-which is Karima's first time. So knowing my personality, I decided to get up front, use the walkie talkie and confess my love and intentions to the crew and my seatmates that I want to be with this woman forever WHILE BEING 35000+ FEET IN THE AIR!!!...NOW THAT'S ONE OF THEM "A.K.A's" AIN'T IT...?
Karima:
I was so excited to be flying on a plane for the first time! We arrived at the Louisville Airport with about an hour before our flight. Little did we know that our flight was delayed and we ended up waiting 2 hours! I was a little nervous to sit beside the window on plane, but James made sure I was okay. I had no idea what James had planned. He excused himself to the bathroom room, and came back to the seat. Next thing I know, the flight attendant makes an annoucement. She calls James and Me to the front, saying that something is wrong with our boarding passes...Next thing I know James is on the intercom asking me to marry him (so sweet)! He gets down on one knee and proposes... It seemed like a dream. I was so excited and everyone kept asking to see the ring! That was one amazing flight.
