James & Carly

Wedding Party

Bekka Forsman

Maid of Honor
Bekka Forsman

My little sister has been there through it all! There's no one I'd rather have standing right beside me on this amazing day than Bekka Jo.

Chrissy Frerichs

Bridesmaid
Chrissy Frerichs

Since meeting at Timberlake while we were still in high school, our friendship has grown. Even though it's pretty much always been long distance, the Lord has blessed me greatly with this woman!

Lindsey Taylor

Bridesmaid
Lindsey Taylor

A girl can't ask for a more genuine friend! We're not really sure how we met, but it was definitely through mutual friends in high school. We have enjoyed some the hardest laughs ever (thanks to Lindsey's wonderful man-laugh) and some of the most authentic conversations.

Breezy Jordan

Bridesmaid
Breezy Jordan

Oh what an awkward beginning, and what an amazing friendship. "We should get jerseys, cause we make a good team!"

Brittney Wiedeman

Bridesmaid
Brittney Wiedeman

Our friendship started just before I left for Japan last spring, and the Lord was gracious enough to put us in the same class this fall. Brittney heard all of my issues and the whole story with James unfold. We could probably write a book with all the notes that we wrote back and forth during class. I really don't think I learned anything in that class!

Krysta George

Bridesmaid
Krysta George

My life would be a whole lot more boring if it weren't for becoming friends with Krysta at the end of high school. We co-lead FCA and have gone on so many adventures it's ridiculous. Who else would come visit me in Japan and sleep in the cupboard under my bed for 2 weeks?! I am sad that I'll be getting married before we got to finally travel the world, especially after we mapped out the whole trip on her shower curtain.

Brian Pruch

Best Man
Brian Pruch

My one and only brother from the same mother (he'll laugh at that if you don't). I couldn't ask for a better man to stand next to me on my wedding day.

Matt Meschke

Groomsman
Matt Meschke

Oh, the chaos that is my friendship with Matt. Never a dull moment. We became friends in our senior year of college and we served at the University of Nebraska with Campus Crusade. Matt's heart to turn boys into men is incredible. Oh, and never cross Maddog...he'll getcha.

Dana Jones

Groomsman
Dana Jones

I've known Dana since he was a pup--just a young freshman at UNL. We lead a Bible study together and had no idea what we were doing. We threatened guys if they didn't show up (not really, but kind of). Dana models Christ so much and I know that his passion for Jesus has rubbed off on me in a huge way. (Unfortunately, this is the only *decent* pic of Dana and me together.)

Dusty Hanson

Groomsman
Dusty Hanson

Dusty and I go way back. I met him in a Bible study during my junior year. Dusty has been a source of laughter, spiritual conversation, debates, and PS2 bets. I'm so thankful for his encouragement during good and bad times. Dusty, as always, stays classy.

Rylan Reed

Groomsman
Rylan Reed

Rylan and I have grown close over the past 4 years, especially this past year. He is serving with me in South Africa during 2009. I've grown to love him, respect his desire to disciple men, and I find his hand gestures absolutely intriguing.

Andrew Reiners

Groomsman
Andrew Reiners

Andrew is the quiet, gentle giant. We've bonded over many a disc golf rounds and late nights on the blogosphere. He was there for my first hole-in-one! Andrew's desire to treasure Jesus and hate sin inspires me. Go hard or go home, bro.

Amanda Patten

Personal Attendant
Amanda Patten

Amanda and I became friends during a 24 hour bus ride for a hurricane Katrina relief trip our freshmen year of college when we were the only smart ones on the bus and slept on top of the luggage the whole way. We bonded over both working at camp, and now our friendship has grown deeper and more meaningful as we've gotten older. And we get to be engaged at the same time!

Sara Eccleston

Personal Attendant
Sara Eccleston

Sara was in a Bible study that a Cru intern (Daley!) and I co-lead and after a few days I figured out she was dating James's brother Brian. I kept my mouth shut about James for a good long while because I didn't want word to get back to him that I still had feelings for him...but Sara was one of the girls in my study that when they found out James and I were going to coffee definitely jumped to pretty far conclusions...:) She made meeting the Pruch's much less intimidating for the first time. I'm so excited for our relationship to grow as we get to spend much more time together this next year once I'm in Omaha!

Ben Westby

Usher
Ben Westby

Ben is my brother-in-law. I love him dearly and I couldn't ask for a better man to marry my sister. He has a heart to know God like few I've met. The first night I met Ben, we slept on adjoining air-beds in my parent's basement. Honestly, it wasn't awkward. Ben is a hard worker, and he serves a mean cup o' coffee at Caribou.

BJ Gabel

Usher
BJ Gabel

BJ and I go way back. From hanging out and watching Rambo on Smith 3 to theological conversations at Scooters, we've been through a lot together. BJ's excitement and joy to follow Jesus blows my mind. Zinga zinga, BJ!

Luke Summers

Usher
Luke Summers

When I first met Luke, I was his discipler in Crusade. After about 6 months, we became good friends. I admire Luke's heart to know the Scriptures and serve the Lord well. And though he's 6 feet 6 inches tall, don't let him fool you, I can take him one-on-one on the hardwood any day. Currently, Luke lives and works in Lincoln.

Corey Priebe

Usher
Corey Priebe

I have no idea when I met Corey, but I'm sure it was a good story. Corey and I have grown close over the past three years, and especially this past year after he got home after year-long trip to Serbia. Corey is an amazing listener, is easy to cry with, and he has such a heart for the gospel to go to the world.

Also, Corey was married in August to Grace. Congrats to them!
