Welcome to New York City! Jamie is a life-long New Yorker, and Josh has lived here since 2001. Below are some of our favorite things to do and places to go. Of course, we really want to hang out with you during our Wedding Weekend, so please check out the "Wedding Events" tab and join us...
Our dear friend Cheryl Conkling works for this incredible New York institution, and she has generously offered free guest passes for our Wedding Weekend. If you are interested in exploring the museum at any time during the weekend, please let us know and we will hook you up.

Explore what the New York Times just called "one of the most thoughtful, sensitively designed public spaces built in New York in years." The High Line was originally constructed in the 1930s, to lift dangerous freight trains off Manhattan's streets. Section 1 of the High Line just opened, and when it is complete, it will be a mile-and-a-half-long elevated park, running through the West Side neighborhoods of the Meatpacking District, West Chelsea and Hell's Kitchen. It features an integrated landscape, designed by architects Diller Scofidio + Renfro, combining meandering concrete pathways with naturalistic plantings. Fixed and movable seating, lighting, and special features are also included in the park. If you love art, architecture, urban planning, and nature, this is a must see.
Shopaholics, beware. Juicy Couture, Rag and Bone, Jack Spade, James Perse...
Stroll through the charming and historic West Village (where we live!). Create your own "Sex and the City" walking tour: stop by one of several Marc Jacobs or Ralph Lauren boutiques...grab a cupcake at Magnolia Bakery or a slice of NYC's finest at Bleecker Street Pizza...browse used CDs and great vinyl at Bleecker Street Records...stop for a latte at Cafe Angelique...and for the most amazing fro-yo experience in the world, go to Yogurtland!

Newly renovated and conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, this museum houses the world's most extensive and prestigious collection of modern art. Jamie and his grandmother are members, and we try to go here as much as possible.

West Side Story plays a major role in our relationship, and it is currently being revived at the Palace Theatre on Broadway. It is nominated for several Tony Awards, so you would have to buy tickets in advance. We saw the show and absolutely loved it. Check out our review on our Blog!

Our favorite restaurant in the city. And it happens to be located on a really cool block in the hip and trendy Lower East Side neighborhood. The menu is New American, and the plates are "tapas" style, meant to be shared. The cocktails are killer. The vibe is swanky yet unpretentious. We have celebrated many birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays here.

Our favorite brunch spot in the city. Amazing bloody marys and mimosas (after 12 noon) and incredibly savory egg dishes.
