Guestbook...
We can see that we've had quite a number of visits, but only a few people have signed the guestbook! lol Just looks kind of funny from our special homepage.
Ah the research
We tried to go out and get a veil with Melissa, but the one I had liked wasn't there, so we didn't get anything - that's fine, just an excuse to go out again later! haha! Other than that, we started thinking more seriously about the music, but we really want your help so please post on the website the music you want to hear. I also tried to get a hold of the logistics cell at Detachment to request the swords for the wedding, but he's on leave until 1 September, so I'm just waiting it out...

She called back!
Chef Lily called back yesterday! So we got some more information about the cake! Anyone have any preferences?
Still no response...
It's quite an ordeal it seems to get a response from the Chef we have been calling/e-mailing to make our cake. We picked out what we want...and now it feels like I am just calling and getting no answer. Hopefully she calls back soon! I'd like to have that out of the way - that's the last big thing we need booked, everything else is pretty simple.

Engagement Party
The party was a great success! We had a wonderful time with friends and family! There was awesome food, some games, and fantastic company...we couldn't have asked for anything better! Special thanks to Lise, Larry, Katie, Ian and Melissa for helping with all the prep work, and to Anita for her wonderful dip! All of your hard work really made it the success it was. We're off...
to Kirkland Lake that is! The car is packed and we're ready to go, definately excited too. It has been a while since we've been there. We are hoping not to catch too much traffic but, it is the long weekend, so what are we to expect? For those that can make it...GREAT! We look forward to having lots of fun! For those that can't, don't sweat it...we'll make another "excuse" to party :) We'll post some pics of the party shortly, so don't forget to check out the photo gallery!
Got flowers!
I called and ordered the flowers today! Probably going to see them next week or something, although they suggested that tomorrow was a good day for them - I'm not sure it is here since we are packing for the weekend. As for the cake, the chef is on holidays until August 1st - no wonder we didn't hear back!
Getting closer!
We are getting closer to the engagement party! Certainly exciting and I know many of us are counting down the days! The menu is planned, the invites are out, and some RSVPs have come back (so I'm hearing). Should be fun!
