Time just goes by so quickly
It feels like just yesterday we were under 200 days...now it's 188 (funny enough that it happens to be my squadron number, haha!).
I am just finishing up my workshop for childbirth education and I have a presentation today. I hope it goes well. My topic is caesarian birth. Thankfully, it's only 15 minutes and I'm using my 10 years teaching experience to back me up. The lesson plan was different from what I'm used to but nothing I can't handle. It is pass/fail so here is to hoping that my 10 year background in teaching proves to be useful and transferable to this (which it should).
Wedding stuff...we went to see the stag and doe location, and it looks like we will use that place. It seems to fit the theme of the wedding. I hope everyone can make it! Now to start inviting everyone :)
We moved the cake tasting because she wanted to do it this weekend and I'm a little busy, so now it will be in February, which sounds a little better, but I am nervous because it feels so close to the wedding date.
Not much else, just having no fun paying for things - everybody wants to charge you a ridiculous price because they can. I understand people need to make a living, but some places are charging way more than they have to. Such is life though, it seems that way with everything.
Can't wait to see everyone and to have all the planning stages over so we can just enjoy the day that we worked so hard on!
