Weddings are about family and friends. Here are some of those important people who are helping us make it such a beautiful occasion.
Melissa Simas
Maid of Honour
Melissa met Nicole in high school...a very long time ago. They've shared many ups and downs but no matter what happened, they knew they always had each other's support.
Even though Melissa was not in cadets (and we all know that is Nicole's life), she definitely learned a lot about it. She understands that the parade square can be a school gym, and that summer time means camps and lots of travel (but also a lot of letter writing).
Some of their favourite memories include their dinners at the "Chalet", singing in the high school choir, and all their walks (even in the snow, with wet hair).
Melissa has shared in many aspects of Nicole's life and it means a lot to have her there with us on this special day.
Stephanie Herman-Winkler
Bridesmaid
Nicole and Stephanie met at while they were studying at York University. It didn't take long until they started hanging out together often - especially taking long walks downtown (there is lots to explore on Yonge St)! They even enjoyed taking a dance class elective together...or at least attempting the modern and African dance styles that were presented in the labs.
It is important to us to have Stephanie help us celebrate our special day.
