We have a large - make that humongous - block of rooms held for guests who wish to (or simply must) stay on Friday and/or Saturday nights. A smaller block of rooms has been reserved for Thursday night.
*We selected this hotel for its niceness, very reasonable rate, and proximity to the wedding and shopping/restaurants. We did a comprehensive search, and this was by far the best choice in each of these respects.
*Call the hotel to make a reservation. You will need a credit card. To be assured a room and the discounted group rate, you must book your room(s) by June 1. When you call, mention you are with our wedding group (give one or both of our last names) to get the discounted rate.
*There are two choices: 1) $89.99 for a standard room (two queen beds and TV); or 2) $109.99 for a king suite (two rooms: a king bed and TV in one, and on the other side of a screened French door, a hide-a-bed sofa, two-person dinette, small fridge, TV, and microwave). There are a total of 15 king suites in the hotel; when they are all booked, they're gone. These rates do not include taxes.
*The hotel has: free deluxe continental breakfast (remember make-your-own waffles from college?) in a pleasant dining room, pool and whirlpool, small exercise room, business services, free wireless Internet access, and free self-parking.
*The hotel is five minutes from the wedding site, just off a major interstate (I-84) and literally across a parking lot from a large mall. So, it is close to restaurants and a huge variety of stores, including Target, bookstores, and other necessities.
*As the day nears, we will post directions between the hotel and wedding event sites.
