How We Met
and became Goobers...
We both attended Louisiana Tech University and knew each other through our friend's, Joey, LA Tech online forum (infectedmind.com), but had not met. We first saw each other at the Quizno's in Ruston, LA...Jarred was leaving and I was just walking in, we sort of stopped and stared at each other for a moment. It was a little weird, but just like one of those moments where it actually felt like time stopped for a few minutes. I know this sounds crazy, but this is actually how we felt at that time. =)
Not too long after, Jarred and I started talking more, and then he graduated and moved to Houston in June 2006. He came back to Ruston to visit for a weekend, and that is when we actually met. This was on Friday, September 8th, 2006. He was at a party that was down the road from where I lived in Ruston and invited me to come meet him, so I went. After the party/get together we were both hungry and decided to go eat at Waffle House. While we were waiting for our food, he saw that I was cold and he offered to go to my car to get my sweater for me...I thought that was so sweet! We went to Wal-Mart and bought Scary Movie 4 to watch. The first movie we watched was actually one that I already had, Elizabethtown. We spent the rest of the weekend together, and the next. Our first real date was in Bossier City when we went to the Boardwalk; it included us making a Hello Kitty at the Build-a-Bear store! =)
Then the next weekend I went to visit Jarred in Houston and we became an official couple! It was September 22, 2006! After that, we took turns driving to see each other every weekend until I moved to Houston in May 2007.
:) We've been together ever since!! :)
He is my EVERYTHING and I am his EVERYTHING!! =)

About the Bride
Caroline Siefermann
Caroline is 23 years old and a full time student at the University of Houston. Her major is HDFS( Human Development & Family Studies), and her minor is Education. She is planning to become an elementary school teacher. Caroline loves to spend time with her and Jarred's family, friends, and of course her goober, Jarred, and their two dogs, Cocoa and Chuy!! She also loves kids, photography, music, traveling, concerts, arts & crafts, and so much more!!
About the Groom
Jarred Young
Jarred is 25 and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor's degree in 2006. He works as an Electrical Engineer for WorleyParsons, which is an engineering contractor, designing Petro Chemical plants. He has worked there since June 2006. Jarred loves to spend time with his and Caroline's family, friends, and of course his fiancee' and their two dogs! He loves to play video games, travel, play softball, go fishing, and surf the net.
