Lauren was born and raised outside of Pittsburgh, PA and has lived in Raleigh for nearly 4 years. She has a bachelors degree in business from Duquesne University and currently works at Paragon Commercial Bank. She loves running and has completed 3 marathons. She is also a huge Steelers fan!

Jason was born and raised in Walton, NY and has been in North Carolina for a little over 5 years. He has a bachelors degree in education from the SUNY College at Oneonta and is currently teaching at Western Vance High School. Jason loves stockcar racing and has been racing since he was 16. Lauren's Perspective...It was a Thursday night in November and I arrived home from work. I walked into my candlelit condo and Jason was down on one knee. After he proposed, we ate our crabcake and filet dinner that he prepared. Yummy!(We forgot the dessert in our excitement) Then we headed to Sammy's (local Steelers bar) to watch the night game. ;-) We were even recognized at half time for our engagement! Couldn't get much better than that!
