Jakarta Day 1
Since our wedding venue has been settled in Singapore and Kuching.
Now we still left out with one homework.... Jakarta (my hometown).
Therefore, we checked for cheap airfare. Luckily, though airasia promotion has over but jetstar still have promotion hahahhaa...
The airfare is quite cheap though, it's S$108 return include with 20 kg luggage.
Our trip will be for few days for venue search, Jasper flight will be on 28-30th March, while i book for 28-31st of March (spend longer time with my mom :P)
on 28th of March (DAY 1)
early morning, we rush go to Changi airport using the first MRT that operated...
I tot it'll be very empty... But unexpected, it just like normal working hour... Wahlao.... it's 6 am le... (5am at Jakarta time). We had breakfast at Killiney Kopitiam after check in.
Maybe we enjoing the bfast too much, at the end, we were late to go boarding.
A lot of crews kept asking "flying to Jakarta? Hurry up! U are late!!"
The boarding room is verrrryyyyyy verrryyy far...
We run.... But my leg is shorter than my ney.... so, he run first.... (after i think back... I dont think it will help right? Flight is not the same as public transport that can ask the pilot to wait for me while i still struggle to run in faster way haha)
When I reached at the boarding room, I wore boots shoes somemore... Have to take off the boots. Takes time longer... But anyway... I reached.... hahaha
After reached into the flight, rest awhile. The flight departed to Jakarta and we so tired, felt a sleep in the flight :)
And the flight was on time... directly go to Mac Donald to see my mom (we pick Mac D as our meeting point). Then we send my brother back to his home.
We had an appointment with Evi Seruni catering at Pluit Sakti at 12 noon time for food test. Since we were passing by Metro Broadway, we dropped by and asked around with the marketing person.
The pros and cons with Metro Broadway:
Pros:
- the location is quite convenience (near at my house) hahah.... Nope, it can be easily reached using the highway. Therefore, we can avoid the traffic jam
- the building is still quite new with view water fountain located inside of the ballroom
- reasonable price
Cons:
- i found the parking location is not so convenient and dark.
After our visit from Metro Broadway, we stopped a while in Bakpao A1. Bought few snacks (hungry liao). Bought 3 paos, siew mai, mo chi, etc. It cost 81,000 (so expensive!!)
We ate in the car, and finally reached at Seruni Catering place, located in Pluit Sakti.
We had test food. It's the first time for me to have test food.... A lot of food that they served for us... Free lunch.... hahahhaa....
Based from our budget, Ratna gave few places for suggestion, her explanations are quite details..
She said that there are few venues for our choices:
1. Alam Sutera Sport Club
The concept will be semi outdoor and indoor.
2. Gedung Angkasapura, Kemayoran

3. Wisma Antara, Thamrin

4. Prisma Sport Club
Since we like the picture shown at Alam Sutera, we were heading to go there to see the view. Wah.... the journey took around 1 hour plus. I was very tired, bought pocari sweat to increase my stamina. While Jasper still excited to see the view.
Views are nice, we can imagine about the ambience at night cos of the swimming pool has a lot of nice statue and lights. We are quite sure that the lightings reflected on the water will be very pretty :)

The place is quite big, it may be can be fitted with around 1000 persons (include with indoor area). But since the location is very far, we decided to choose other venue.
From Alam Sutera.... we dropped by at Jetski cafe, quite nice...
A lot of pillars made by bamboo really turns me off, though it's located at beach side in Pantai Mutiara.
The lighting is not good enough to support the ambience.
The rental fee itself cost us for 15 millions rupiah ($2000) while it can fit only around 400 persons for standing party.
The room itself will be equipped with fixed fan and additional 8 fans only. Therefore, i think, the party will be quite hot due of beach environment.
But anyway, nice person that entertain us.
We return home and prepare to go out again for watch movie at EX. We watched PUSH. But we were too tired and felt asleep in the movie hahahhahaha.
The seats still remain cosy and nice, it just too bad that we were too tired
