I love a well maintained garden! So when JB told me he had to take me to the Dallas Arboretum I figured he was just being the selfless person he had been for the past two years. Little did I know what was in his pocket! We began wandering around this 60 acre INCREDIBLE botanical garden when I noticed JB's hands were clammy with sweat. I asked him if he was Okay; he told me he was just hot. Oh, sure. Then we decided to take a rest and sit on this beautiful marble bench that had a waterfall behind it. I was taking in the beauty of the arboretum when JB got on one knee and asked ME to marry HIM! I said YES! and then almost passed out because my ring was so beautiful! He told me that there were more surprises! He then took me to the Dallas Ritz and immediately my soon to be in-laws sent up some Bubbly. A few minutes later John Nowak (Jb's best man), Anne Pignanelli (John's Fiance), James (my brother) and Suzanne Seagle (James' girlfriend) joined us to celebrate. We rented out the private wine cellar of Fearing's Restaurant at the Ritz and Celebrated with the most amazing meal of my life! Later I had a massage at their spa; which was truly amazing. It was the most perfect day ... but I believe January 16th, 2010 will beat it!
