Wedding Accommodations
Hi! We have secured room blocks at the Radisson Hotel and Four Seasons in Downtown Austin at reduced rates. They're close to the downtown sites as well as our house and the wedding site. More affordable options include the Extended Stay Hotel and the Austin Motel. There are many great places to stay in Austin, but we recommend the ones below.
Radisson Hotel
Room block for Friday, Oct 31st - Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 2008**
Guests will have the following options:
$145 for a Standard room (2 double beds or 1 King)
$175 for a Suite (1 Kg bedroom with 1 living room with sofabed, can add 1 rollaway).
Above rates available until October 1, 2008.
Overnight Parking is $15

Call: +1.800.333.3333 and reference the “Punithakumar/ Kalikstein Room Block”. **If you'd like to come early or stay later, please call the hotel directly to make your reservations (+1.512.478.9611). Depending on availability, they will honor the above rates for 3 days prior and 3 days after the set room block dates (as per Ashley Riley, Catering Sales Manager).

2. Click on “Make a reservation,” and enter in your arrival and departure dates (entering a day before 10/31/2008 or a day after 11/2/2008 may not allow you to find your rate).
3. Once proper dates are inserted, scroll down to the ‘Promotion code’ and enter ‘KALIK.’
4. Click ‘Continue,’ and your group rate will appear.
5. When the rate appears on the screen, you may continue with the billing process.
The Four Seasons
Two doors down from the Radisson, the Four Seasons is also right on the water. We have reserved a room block for Room block for Friday, Oct 31st - Sunday, Nov. 2nd, 2008.
Guests will have the following options (room occupancy max = 3people):
$225 for a City View King (or 2 twin beds)
$275 for a Lake View King (or 2 twin beds)
Above rooms and rates available until October 1, 2008 and have an occupancy tax of 15%.
Overnight parking is $17 or $22 for valet per night.

Cancellations: reservations must be changed or canceled three days prior to date of arrival to avoid penalty (1 nights room rate + tax).
PS: The restaurant in the Four Seasons, Trio, is one of the best in town.
Extended Stay America Hotel
The Extended Stay hotel is a more affordable option, especially if you plan on staying for a while ;) It's less than 2 miles from the Radisson and Four Seasons, and is close to the World HeadQuarters of Whole Foods.
Prices are around $100 for a suite w/ a kitchen. Parking is free.
South Congress Alternatives
Other fun options are the Austin Motel and the Hotel San Jose, both are in the heart of our neighborhood South Congress (SoCo) area and on either side of our favorite outdoor coffee shop, Jo's.
The Austin Motel is super quirky. It's a historic, really kitschy motel with each room decorated in a different style. The rooms are pretty big, very clean, reasonably priced. Parking is free. It is so popular that they only take reservations 3months in advance (for our wedding that would be starting July 1st, 9am).

Next door to Austin Model is the "hip" Hotel San Jose. Its rooms can be fairly small and take on a minimalist style. The hotel (no restaurant/room service) is most popular for its very cool outdoor bar.
