Tulum and Xel-Ha
Yesterday we visited the Tulum ruins (right on the ocean) for a few hours and then headed to Xel-Ha for a half day. We did some snorkeling there and it was awesome! The fish were so colorful and some would swim right up near you. We are really hoping that the underwater camera we bought got some good pics on it! :) Tulum was hot and sticky... we were dying for some air-conditioning and water after only a couple of hours. But it was really cool to see it all and...
Adventures at Sea
We went deep sea fishing today! Jeff caught 2 barracuda and a huge king mackeral (about 4 feet long!!). His last catch was the biggest fish of the day for all of the boats! :) Margie caught 2 little tuna at the same time (they both came in on one line).... and then lost her breakfast. :) Thursday we did an ATV ride through the jungle and swam in a cenote (cavern like sink hole), it was very fun! The ATV ride was dusty but we got to drive pretty...
Kayaking
So we went on a little kayaking tour this morning... we learned 2 things: 1. We both really need to hit the gym a little more often... ok a lot more often! 2. If they graded us on our teamwork, we would have flunked! :) It was very choppy out on the ocean today and salt water in the eyes is not fun, but the little bit I did see beyond the kayak was muy bonita. :)

Paradise
As we walked to dinner last night across the beautiful resort I told Jeff "This place is f**ing awesome!", he responded "You are one classy broad." It's been hot and humid and the weather is too. ;) We spent yesterday just relaxing and exploring the resort, they gave us an upgrade when we checked in and we have a pool right outside our room that is as warm as bath water... yum. Dined al fresco a few yards from the ocean in a warm summer breeze. Caught a circus show...

Ouch! OK, future note for all you DIY brides - wholesale roses still
have thorns! And the gloves only marginally helped. :) And cutting 3
boxes worth of flowers under cool running water is a lot of work! It took me 1.5 hours to cut them all and get them into tubs of water... No nap yet... and I may not be able to find time for one later!
Final 2 days!!!
Well I can tell we are getting very, very close! I was up at 4:30 this morning and couldn't fall back asleep... I don't know if it was nerves or excitement... maybe a little of both. :) But it did give me a head start on today's to-do list and now I have a nap to look forward to later today. :) So, what's done? - guest book is now completely finished and ready for Sunday - flowers just arrived (as I was writing this post!) - rings are here...
Wedding Music
Ok, I think I finally got all the music picked out for the ceremony, grand march, and such... I didn't think it would take me so long... wow. Maybe going the traditional route would have been easier, but hey we ain't stuffy like that! :)
DIY Bride
So in case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm kind of a crafty person. No, not the sneaky kind of crafty, the "I get glitter on my cats and ink on my hands" kind of crafty. I like to use my creative side and save money so it works out great. Here's my wedding DIY project list:

My dress fitting
I had my first real dress fitting last night - the alterations gal is very nice, thanks for the reference Claudia! :) So a little bit about the dress... when I first shopped for it, the size 14 was a bit tight up top and needed to be let out about 1/4 inch on each side. So I ordered the 14. When they called saying it had arrived and I could pick it up, my bridesmaid Mary was in town. She hadn't seen the dresss and I wanted to try it on again, well when I did it...
