Amanda "Lady" James
Maid of Honor
Maid of Honor: Amanda James a.k.a Hey Lady. Amanda is from The Napa Valley, but resides in the LA area where she leads college and youth ministries.
She was my college roommate from Cuesta/teammate/co-worker/co-coach/BFF. Amanda and I lived together in Shell Beach and had the best year of our lives. She has been such a great friend to not only me but equally to Jeffrey as well. We used to dance around our apartment for hours, she attempted to teach me how to bake cookies, and we had regular strolls around Shell Beach enjoying the local garage bands. We have a little inside joke (well many, but I‘ll share this one), we call each other “Hey Lady”. We worked at Avila Hot Springs together and all the little kids would come up to me and instead of saying “excuse me” or “lifeguard” they would say “HEY LADY”. To this day we call each other “Hey Lady”. Amanda is one of those people I will always be close to, always love. She is the definition of a Best Friend. Since our college days we have stayed soul mate sisters and I am so excited to have her in the line up! I love you Lady! xo

One of my best friends growing up. Allison and I went to Church together our whole lives, but became especially close to each other our senior year of high school. This was around the time I regularly started calling her AL, I don’t why, but I just did, and still do! Daily trips to the beach and star gazing was what our lives consisted of. We have stayed very close friends since then and to this day we share so much. Photography is our favorite hobby we practice together. We go out on little photo adventures and snap pictures of anything and everything. Whenever she comes home from the Los Angeles area we go out to the Maverick to escape the Orcutt crowd. Each time we’ve been we have met celebrities! I’m so glad to have AL in my life, and in my wedding! Love you AL! xo

Bridesmaid: Karamie Krumbholz a.k.a Gretchen. Karamie is from Orcutt, lives in Grover Beach, and works for the same company as I do, CalPsych Care.
Karamie and I recently traveled for six weeks through Europe together. SIX WEEKS 24/7, no break from each other….and we’re still friends and I love her so much! We experienced the world together. We met amazing people, saw breathtaking places, learned so much about ourselves, got along very well, and had an experience we will never forget. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have gone, and have gone with Karamie. She was such a great travel partner! During our trip we came up with the brilliant idea to make up fake names. I was Heidi and she was Gretchen. We both have German blood running through our veins so we decided to give ourselves the most German name we could think of. Needless to say everyone bought it and it was hil-a-ri-ous. Gretchen, Heidi is so so happy to have you in her wedding! Xo

Bridesmaid: Jenny Higley a.k.a Jenny Sue. Jenny is also form Orcutt, lives in Monterey where she is finishing up her degree and works at the aquarium.
Jenny and I first met when we were just 3 years old. At a sweet little place called People Patch Preschool. In Jr. High we reunited and from then on we were inseparable. We spent hours and hours together in the pool. She was my best friend, best teammate, and the person who taught me how to put on make up and talk to boys. Throughout our swimming and water polo days, we were very loved and I have no clue who came up with this, (maybe Jenny’s Mom?) but somehow I was known as “Sara Jane” and Jen was “Jenny Sue”. Of course we still call each other those names and always will. Jenny will forever be one of my best friends and I am so blessed that she can be apart of my special day. After all we have been talking about it since we were twelve. Xo

I met Courtney 6ish years ago when I started dating her brother! Yep Courtney is Jeff’s older sister and now I will finally have a sister! Yay! Courtney and I have had so much fun over the last few years celebrating birthdays, enjoying family holiday dinners, and appreciating the dynamic experiences life throws at us. Courtney was named “Mimi” from her and Jeff’s little cousin Madeline. (who will be a flower girl!) I think that name is so cute, especially cute when Maddy says it. Court we’re very glad to have you apart of our day! Xo

Danielle "Daan" and Sara have been friends since 2003 when they were both Seniors at Righetti High. They instantly clicked and were forever friends. During high school they spent their days surfing, laying out, and exploring the Central Coast. Danielle is from Utrecht Holland, and currently lives in Amsterdam Holland. Even though they are a half world apart they are the best of friends and always will be. They have shared fun trips of visiting each other, traveled to Prauge in the dead of winter together,they have a fun tradition of and swapping a pair of sunglasses that belonged to Sara's Mom in the 1980's. Each time Sara and Daan see each other they trade the "Sisterhood of the traveling sunglasses". Danielle will always be a soul-sister to Sara. Thanks Daan for coming all the way across the world to be here for Jeffrey and I! Love you! xo
