Time flies!
Well, we are down to less than two months until the wedding! I just finished putting invitations together and I'll be sending them out as soon as I get the last few addresses from Brandon. I am simply amazed by how fast time is flying by! I'm starting to have the panic dreams that people have been telling me about - you know, the kind where all of your guests show up and nothing is ready, you're still in your pajamas, there's no food, drink or music, and then you wake up. I think Brandon has even had a few of them as well!
We have our first shower this weekend, which is really exciting. In fact, almost every weekend from now until June 13th is booked with something! We are so grateful to have so many people who care about us and want to help us with the wedding plans!
In terms of an update on those wedding plans, we have all of the reception decorations and the menu is set. The cakes are picked out (almond, key lime and chocolate..Mmmmmm). We've started working on the ceremony details with the preacher and the ceremony music is set. We are still working on the reception music and some other small details. All in all, I feel good about the progress and I'm so excited for June 13th!
We've also been trying to figure out how to merge our households and bring the four kitties together into one big happy family! Wish us luck on that one! We've got a lot of work to do, but we are looking forward to every minute of it!
