Brittany is my sister in law. She married my wonderful brother and friend Jonathan Andrew on January 3, 2009. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful person to call my sister. I love her and am honored to have her become part of my family and fill this important role on my wedding day.
Shanda is one of my dearest friends. She and I met the first week of college and found out we had the same major. From there we became close friends and then roommates for about a year in college. She married her husband Nathan in June 2005 and they are welcomed their first baby boy, Noah, this past August. She is truly a beautiful woman and I'm so blessed to have her as a life long friend.
Kari is one of my best friends. We met in college in the Communication Design Program and have become the best of friends. She and I have a very "unique" relationship and have so much fun when we are together. She lives in Edmond, Oklahoma and I miss not living in the same town together. But we see each other when we can and talk to each other as much as we can. She is truly a special person and I love her for it.
Lindsey is my oldest friend. We literally have been friends since we were in diapers. We have been through a lot together throughout the years and it's fun to look at old photos and see how much we have changed. I give Lindsey credit for introducing me to Brandon. If she had not convinced me to join the gym, I'm pretty sure he and I wouldn't have ever met. I'm really excited she is going to be a bridesmaid. It's going to be such a fun time.
Korrie is Brandon's oldest niece and the daughter of Kristy and Gary Hughes (Brandon's oldest brother). She is a wonderful and beautiful 16 year old girl who always has tons of energy. She is an outstanding volleyball and softball player and keeps her family really busy with all the games she plays. I'm really excited to have her as a bridesmaid and feel very blessed to have her in my life.
Alyssa is a very wonderful and special girl. She is Brandon's second to oldest niece and Korrie's younger sister. She is very high spirited and very talkative. She will be turning 13 this year which is hard to believe. Like her older siblings, Alyssa loves sports and is quite the little athlete herself. I love this girl and can't wait to have her as a niece.
Kymberlee is such a fun young lady as well. She is Brandon's third oldest niece and will turn 11 this year. She is Brandon's brother Mike's oldest daughter. She is so special and vibrant and always into something. I love her smile and I always look forward to getting a hug from her. I can't wait to have her as a niece as well.
And finally, Miss Ashleigh. Ashleigh is Brandon's youngest niece and Mike and Katrina's youngest child. She turned 5 this last Spring and is the most spunky little girl you ever met. She is pretty feisty but she has her moments when she is just really sweet. I am excited that I will get to see her grow up and be an important part of her life.
David and I have been friends as long as I can remember. He has always been the kind of friend that would push you to be better. It's always a new adventure when your friends with a guy like Howard. It could be a drag race in the Mustang (as teenagers) or building a raft to float in the Abernathy lake (as kids). Never a dull moment through all the years!!!
Sky and I have been through so much together. His house became like a second home to me through high school. He has the most loving and caring parents, and they have always treated me like a son. Sky is strong willed and a leader in life. Sky was a great comfort after my mother passed away and continues to inspire me. Truly a great friend!
I was a groomsman in Skylar's wedding, and it was a blast and a honor to be a part of it. We became close friends after high school and have been close ever since. He is a great husband, father, and friend. Yet another example of how fortunate I am to have such great friends!!
Shane and I where roommates until recently and God bless him for putting up with all my "pickiness". Shane and I have worked together for over 4 years and were roommates for most of that time. It takes a special kind of friendship to withstand those kind of conditions, but we have made it and are better friends from it.
Stephen and I worked together at Nautilus for about 3 years. He was a major contributor to me being in the position I am today at the club. He helped me become a better employee, sales associate, and manager. Stephen became a close friend in a very short amount of time. He lives in Houston now and we still keep in close contact and see each other every time possible.
Still friends after all of these years. What to say about Ryan? Ryan and I worked together, rode bulls together (good idea!), went to college together, and through it all have stuck it out and become better men together. He has always played a role in my life, and I am glad he will be there with me on this amazing day.
