Our Story
We met on a beautiful summer day at Lake Lemon in Indiana. I was on a "girl's day" and we just-so-happened to hook our pontoon boat up to the boat that Shane was on. I was chatting with a couple of girls on his boat and he definitely wanted in our conversations. We floated into each other (literally!) about a month later at that same lake.
Our 1st date...
We went on our first date shortly thereafter. Shane took me on a beautiful hike through a spectacular state park in southern Indiana. We played in a little waterfall and we even held hands! Josie, my 4-legged BFF even adored him (I'm sure that the french fries he kept sneaking to her helped)! And the 3 of us have been inseparable ever since!

My 4-legged twin! Josie came into my life in June 2001 and she continues to be my little shadow...and now she *LOVES* her daddy, too!!!
Josie's faves include car rides, boating, hiking, & playing "chase me"! She longs for the weekends, cuddling with her forever-family, and she even knows that T-R-E-A-T does indeed spell "treat"!
Lucas
Our baby boy! Lucas was going to be our "foster kid" until a good home was found for him...YEAH RIGHT! He now calls us "Mom" & "Dad"...he's going NOWHERE! This picture is from his 1st canoe trip...he loved it!
Lucas longs for napping, boating, going anywhere, and kisses! He's quite the charmer who also has to be where the party is happenin'!
The Girls
Poodin & Teensi ~ These girls are mom & daughter and have been with me for 13 years!!!
Their hobbies are sleeping, eating, and ruling the roost! They are the queens of our household...and they don't think it, they know it!
