Wow. This is happening. It is totally happening.
Pretty much all of the wedding planning has been quiet until yesterday. It’s just been me and Jer talking about things in our wedding planning fort and drawing sketches and making lists and talking to people. But now... now it's more real because we're sharing it. I do this with my thoughts, too. Sometimes they're not real to me until someone else hears them.
We sent announcements out on Monday and started catching word of folks receiving them last night. Our little RSVP e-box is filling, and as I visit the wedsite myself to check things out, a whole different level of this thing is hitting me. People are going to our homepage and being greeted by Regina and The Ramones. REAL people—you actually. You, person right now, you’re reading this in real life. I’m not just writing it for myself anymore. You’ve held in your hands the invitations that me and Jer typed with our hands, and now you’re here, getting to know Jeremy and me through some of the best ways possible: pictures we took with someone we’re happy and comfortable with, our music and our writing.
I think I’m especially pleased because this work is starting to pay off a little. There has been so much struggling in the wedding planning process for me, so much second guessing our/my decisions and it’s nice to hear back from the people who love us—nice to hear that what we’re working so hard to create is, indeed, neat.
So I guess this is a thank you letter, too. Thanks everyone. Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading this. Really. And thanks for supporting me and Jeremy in one of the biggest decision of our lives.
and get excited for january. woo!

The invitations were so unique. The hand-typing made them so personal. I love them. I love you guys and I'm excited to celebrate with you.
