Sila & Lila- Together since BIRTH! Both '84 babies and both namesakes of our BELOVED Grandmother Lila Manase Sapolu. She is the 2nd daughter of Liki and Eseta Tiatia and is now living in Compton, CA.
We have spent the last 27 years together and I've always known that the day that I decide to tie the knot, she would be the person standing next to me at the altar.
Better known now as Keki, she's always been my partner in crime, my co-pilot, my accomplice on the many, MANY missions we've been on together....I love you Keki!
As the only girl in my family, I've always wondered what it would be like to have a sister until she came into my life. Along with my cousins, Pauline is someone that I can ALWAYS confide in. Through our regular trips to Kawikas, our constant emails at work and our deep heart to heart convos over dinner, I've grown so close to this girl and my line wouldn't be complete without her!
By way of Sydney, Australia, Pauline now resides in Anaheim, CA. Outside of work and church, everyone close to her knows she's the life of the party! Can't wait to party with you in January!
xoxoxo
If you know Olympia, then you'll understand where I'm coming from when I say she is SOOOOOO full of spirit at all times of the day. This girl is the epitome of the term "Sister In Christ"! When you meet her, you can't help but feel and bask in her positive energy.
I know God has brought us together as she is one of my many D*House sisters! Being the same age, it was easy for her, Keki and I to gravitate to each other as young girls. She is the eldest of the "Tuliaupupu Siblings" and now lives and works in Santa Barbara, CA. I love you, sis, and can't wait to celebrate my special day with you!
Peka is my cousin and the youngest of the Tiatia sisters.
Not very many people know, but it's only right to mention that 5 years ago in March 2006, Peka is actually the person who introduced Jeremiah and I when we met for the first time. If it wasn't for her, it is very likely that we would not be planning a wedding for early next year. (0:
Thank you so much, Peka, for bringing us together. We both love you very much!
For those that don't know, Kinah is the ONE AND ONLY sister of my 'Hubby To Be'. In the 5 years that I've known Jeremiah, it's so crazy to see how much this girl has grown! When I met Kinah, she was practically still a baby and I now can't believe that by the time we get married she'll be a JUNIOR in HS!
Kinah currently lives in Barstow with her parents and is an awesome volleyball player!!! (despite being only 5'4). We are so proud of you, Kinah! You've grown into such a smart and beautiful girl and we love you so much!
Netta and I were roommates at UCLA from 2003 to 2005 and were inseparable the moment we met. We went through so much during the 2 years we lived together, from late night trips to Roscoes & Diddy Riese to our random last minute road trips to our make shift hair/braiding salon in our dorm, we've stayed close friends even though we're usually thousands of miles apart. Everyone I know that gets to know her falls in love with her the way I did! You might think she's kinda crazy at first, but that's why I LOVE HER! (0: She is currently living in New York working in the movie industry but will be back to celebrate our Big Day!
Evelyn and I met over a phone call and I think its safe to say, I was the person who convinced her to commit to Chaminade! LoL... The moment she found out I had a car and didn't drink but LOVED to hit the club scene (#1 Designated Driver) it was all over from there!
She would eventually move to Hawaii where we were both roommates and teammates, which meant we spent every waking moment together! (0: She's tall and beautiful and together we did DAMAGE in Honolulu! With a passionate common interest in Island music and CPK *wink wink*, I know she'll be one of my lifelong friends!
Davie is also my cousin and the daughter of Ata & Tui Soomalelagi. She is currently a Sophomore at Long Beach Poly HS.
Most of our family will tell you that they love Davie because she does everyone's feaus (chores)...LoL...but I love Davie because she loves our family unconditionally! Although she's one of the youngest in the family, whenever we need a good laugh, she never lets us down.
Today I thank the sports god's for bringing me and Emma together...hahaha...I think since we were born, we've been on every soccer, softball, basketball and volleyball teams we've ever been on all the way up until we entered high school..lol.. But although our athletic talents brought us together, it is far from what defines our relationship. Many of my most memorable childhood experiences include Emma, from our annual camping trips to our crazy antics in the living room to walking up and down Bruin Walk as UCLA classmates, its pretty safe to say that we've practically done it all. Our families have been very close for nearly 3 DECADES!! and our bond is irreplaceable. Thank you, Emma for being such a great friend, and this is for all the times we've spent always wondering what our wedding day would be like. I love you CABBY!!! (0:
