We had a wonderfully romantic getaway up in Victoria for my birthday and Valentine's Day in 2007. Getting away from the stress of work and life at home was a great opportunity for us to get closer. I found my ring at The Empress Fairmont Hotel, and spazzed out about it to make sure that West knew I found the one! Funny thing was, he was trying to figure out how he was going to bring up the subject without it being too soon! He made the deposit with the store, and the rest is history!
