Because Joe has a sentimental attachment to this Church, we immediately went to this church to book THE date. We originally want it to be on Oct. 10, 2010, as it turned out that date was booked already. So are all the weekends from October to December.
Joe is fine with having our wedding on a weekday but I want it on a weekend. We end up leaving the church with no date yet, only to come back again after so-so hours to book a date that is a non-working holiday. So December 30, 2010 it is!
Then a surprise came in the form of an Executive Order by then President, PGMA. Haay... our first in our "I didn't see this coming" list. =)
Reception
The Glass Garden, 257 Evangelista Street, Bgy. Santolan, Pasig City
Macel and I started planning for our wedding for a little over a year. We booked the church two weeks after I proposed. After that, we checked out several venues within the vicinity of the church, but somehow, The Glass Garden edged them all. With it's picturesque interior and weather-proof garden look, we were enamored by its simple yet elegant beauty. Within a week, we have The Glass Garden booked for our wedding date.
