Here's my compilation of everything that I DIY'ed for the wedding.
If you see something you like and use the image, don't forget to kindly credit the photo:)
I was going to use the Tussy Mussy that is in my "Bridal Accessories" page, but then I changed my mind. I am DIYing my bouquet and I managed to find 4 yds of vintage ribbon in a latte color (it was the closest I could get to my monogram colors). I only paid $6 for the ribbon (AWESOME!).
I decided to make my own bouts for the guys (it looked easy enough) so I used the silk flowers leftover from my flowergirl basket and used Martha Stewart Seam Ribbon in Putty (I had bought it earlier this year and it matched the guys mocha ties and hankies perfectly). All secured neatly in the back with a corsage pin (which I attached to their jackets the night before the wedding).
I had Jessica from Jessica's Design Shop create the STDs for me. I had literally no time to work on them myself and I was completely lost as how to go about creating them. Thanks, Jess!!
I finally decided on how I wanted the invitation to look and the wording. I am pleased with the results and anxious to begin working on the inserts!
I decided on this variation for an RSVP card which will allow me to get the number of guests and number of meals so I can finalize that detail as I get closer to our cut-off date.
I needed to have more songs for my list, so on the back of the card, I have allowed my guest to request songs that they'd like to hear during our reception.
Here are my invites from Vista Print all cut and ready to go. I still haven't decided if I'm including a directions insert.
I created the labels for the RSVP envelope in Publisher and made them business card size. I know it may be little on the large size, but overall, it looks balanced.
A close up look at the inserts.
This project is still in the works, but the frame is from Michaels, the paper is from AC Moore, and the chipboard numbers I bought for $1.00 (on clearance). The glitter is from Martha Stewart and the color is Brownstone.
They're finished (except the labels for the outer envelope)! It took me such a long time to figure out how to finish the outside of the pocketfold, so I was inspired to do a belly band.
I used extra metallic champagne cardstock leftover from the progam covers and ordered gift tags from Vista Print for the monogram label. The tags are glossy, but it makes the monogram 'pop' and gives it texture.
